Restoring Hope. Building Skills. Deepening Resilience
The Community Resilience Model ®, as developed by the Trauma Resource Institute, is a skills-based workshop that:
ResilienceThe CRM® defines resilience as the ability to identify and use individual and collective strengths to live fully in the present moment and to thrive while living our lives - professionally and personally. Resilient people not only get back on their feet after a fall, they create meaning from their falls that positively transforms their lives and their communities.

I think this is what Nelson Mandela meant by the 'Rainbow Nation'. Learning how to stabilize our nervous system is equality - and is beyond nations, culture, religion and ethnicity. — CRM® Teacher, South Africa |
CRM TrainingsCRM® skills trainings introduce the six wellness skills of Trauma Resilience Model, which are designed to help adult and children learn to track their own nervous system in order to bring the body, mind, heart and spirit back into greater balance. And to encourage people to pass the skills along to family, friends and their wider community.
3-hour, 1-day and 2-day trainings are available. The complete CRM model takes 2-days to teach in full. 3-hour trainings cover a subset of the concepts and skills, but still provide immense value to participants. CEUs are available for all trainings. Scroll down for a summary list of the concepts and skills. Please email or phone me, Sue Mann, to discuss your needs. |
